La poire

Do pears look better in Paris? For some reason, I found this one extremely beautiful. I think it is the leaf that got me.

Not many exciting pictures today, because I didn't do many exciting things. That, however, is part of the plan...being able to relax and rejuvenate without having to rush or feel obligated to do things.

Not that exciting, but I did, however, complete an online course through the Open University on the history of the Louvre. I'm going Wednesday, and really enjoyed learning about the history of the museum, its acquisitions, and art in France in general.

Also not exciting, but I did do a load of dishes in the miniscule dishwasher. This thing is so small and cute that it would fit in a dollhouse! Or on Dawn's charm bracelet!

Also not exciting, but I ran up to the Franprix for some more bubbly water, and noticed these amazing potato chip flavors. Roasted chicken with thyme. Cheeseburger potato chips! I'm not wasting any of my precious little stomach strength to try them, even if I am perversely curious.

Hopefully tomorrow I am off to the Cluny - the museum of the middle ages...nearby is the Arenes de Lutece, an amphitheater from Gallo-Roman times. We shall see...
